Ok, so i just bought a wireless adapter to my xbox 360 because my internet is all wireless now and is hooked up downstairs and im playing upstairs. When i tried to hook the wireless adapter to my 360 it wouldnt work. I would go to network settings and then to edit settings and the wireless mode tab at the bottom and it wouldnt let me click on it. PLEASE HELP ASAP!

I just bought an Xbox 360 wireless adapter from eBay. I sent it to my friend’s house and he just gave it to me yesterday. From the second I put it in, the light was red. When I checked the Xbox Live network tests, it said the wireless adapter is “disconnected”. I don’t have anything in my Ethernet slot. I don’t have my hard-drive yet, is that the reason?

I currently have a weak signal on my 360 wireless adapter and am curious if anybody know how to get a stronger signal. I bought a 10 ft usb extender and it helped a little.

Will a longer USB cable pick up a better signal? If it does, will it lose speed through the usb extender.

Is there another way to extend the range on the wireless adapter?
