360 wireless adapter
Probably a dumb question, but I pick up a wifi signal from a neighbor for my laptop. My Nintendo Wii picks it up as well. Will the Xbox 360 wireless adapter pick it up as well where I can play online? Thanks.

It should. And yes. That is what the adapter is for. I’m just buying a modem for my xbox 360 because it’s cheep and its a faster connection. The wireless adapter is $100 which really sucks. so yeah. try to get a modem.

That’s actually what the wireless network adapter is for. WiFi just means “Wireless Fidelity”, a lot of people think wifi is a type of wireless internet, but it’s just a short name meaning wireless capable. If you have a neighbor who does not have his modem locked out and you can access it with your computer and wii, then the wireless adapter for the XBox will do the same exact thing and you will be good to go! As long as your neighbor doesn’t try to lock you out, then you’ll have to do some beating.
