XBOX GAMES 360, XBOX CONTROLLER 360, RING OF DEATH FIX – XBOX CHEAT 360

I just bought an Xbox 360 wireless adapter from eBay. I sent it to my friend’s house and he just gave it to me yesterday. From the second I put it in, the light was red. When I checked the Xbox Live network tests, it said the wireless adapter is “disconnected”. I don’t have anything in my Ethernet slot. I don’t have my hard-drive yet, is that the reason?
